Kohanga Reo, which means 'language nest', provides a solid start in language and protocol for our babies. Starting as early as a new born, your child will be a part of a school that teaches the Maori Language. Within our Kohanga, your child will learn to speak, read and write in Maori.

 

We promote Maori mythology and music is a primary part of the child's day. We currently have two classes:- One for newborn through to 11 years old and one for years 11 and above, which focuses on more than just Te Reo Classes. This feature is free with membership.

Adults are more than welcome to be a part of this class.

Kohanga Reo is held at the Queanbeyan Leagues Club upstairs in the Function Room from 630pm.
